Development

From concept to the real journey.

Current phase: engineering design

Follow Kapibara toward its first integrated prototype. See what is complete, what is taking shape and what comes next.

Path to the first integrated prototype

  1. Stage work completed

    Scope defined

Temperature monitoring comes first, with a path toward more sensor types.

  2. In progress now

    Design in progress

Initial circuit and layout drafts are in place. Routing and enclosure engineering remain ahead.

  3. Validation ahead

    Prototype validation

Next, validate temperature accuracy, record recovery, wireless links and real power consumption.

  4. Future milestone

    Integrated demonstration

The goal is a working, integrated prototype close to the intended product form. Timing depends on validation.

Inside the development program

Hardware & form

Exploring a compact tag with a replaceable battery. Enclosure, thermal interface and radio performance need joint validation.

Data & connectivity

Record-retention and reconnect rules are defined. Persistent storage, multi-hop links and power performance await implementation and physical testing.

Software & more sensors

Mobile and cloud features, humidity, light, shock and CO₂ are on the roadmap. A complete monitoring system has not yet been delivered.

Development journal

Record-retention rules refined

Defined: uploading or ending a shipment does not automatically erase tag history. Implementation and capacity validation are still ahead.

Enclosure direction established

A compact structure and replaceable battery guide the design, with temperature sensing assessed across mounting options. Enclosure and performance are not finalized.

First circuit design draft established

The schematic and initial layout are ready for engineering review. Routing, manufacturing and physical validation are not complete.

What we need to prove next

Validate accuracy, record integrity, connection recovery and battery performance under real mounting conditions before an integrated demonstration.

Use cases

This is a development record, not a delivery commitment. Performance, certifications and availability will be announced after validation.
